Anthony Loew

Anthony is a 2006 graduate of Rice Lake High School. He was a standout Three-Sport athlete participating in Wrestling, Football, and Track, earning 11 varsity letters. He is Rice Lake’s most successful wrestler, setting the record for career and single season wins, and winning the school’s 1st and only WIAA State Wrestling Championship in 2006. Anthony was also an All State Football player, anchoring the defensive line during the Warriors state appearance in 2004 and state semifinals appearance in 2005.
Wrestling - Rice Lake High School:
- WIAA State Champion at 275 pounds in 2006 - Rice Lakes only State Wrestling Champion. Finished 3rd as a junior and 5th as a sophomore.
- Ranked #1 in the Nation and in Wisconsin for his weight class, 2005-06 season
- School Record 144 career wins
- School Record 47 wins and 1 loss in a season (2005-06)
Football - Rice Lake High School
- All State 1st Team
- All Northwest 1st Team
- Big Rivers Conference Defensive Player of the Year at 6’2” and 264 pounds (2005)
- Starter in the 2006 Wisconsin Shrine Bowl All Star football game
- Top 200 football player in the nation, 2005
- Lead the Warriors to a 10-3 overall record and a State Semifinal appearance in his senior year
- Received a Scholarship to play for Mankato State University, but his collegiate athletic experience was shortened due to injury
Anthony currently resides in Eau Claire, Wisconsin with his wife Amanda and 2 active children, and is the proud owner of his own construction business.
