Welcome to the
Rice Lake Sports Hall of Fame

Celebrating athletic excellence

Here, we remember and recognize great athletes from decades past. People like class of 2017 inductee Julie (Lola) Piepenburg.

One of the pioneers of organized women's sports at RLHS following the passage of Title IX , Julie was a four-year starter in three different sports graduating from RLHS in 1976.

We learn about great teams from our history. Like the 1961 RLHS Varsity Boys Basketball team, which featured five future members of the Rice Lake Sports Hall of Fame.

Check out the "Inductees" page to find the bios for Coach Bob Tone and players Dewey Mullikin, Virgil Amundson, Harold Shudlick and Pete Hughdal.

And we honor those whose contributions laid the foundation for the athletes who compete today. Like Francis "Pug" Lund, a standout athlete at RLHS who would become an All-American and National Champion football player at the University of Minnesota.

Thank you for stopping to learn About our organization. We hope you will take time to get to know our honored Inductees and discover all of the athletes we have supported through our Scholarship program along with those whose Achievement we have recognized.

If you find that you share our passion or just want to support the work we do, we encourage you to explore the ways that you can Get Involved with our organization.
